Millbury, MA Police Contacted

Today I wrote a letter to the Chief of Police in Millbury, MA, Mr. Mark Moore. His email address is mmoore@millburypolice.com. I tried to appeal to his instinct to protect his citizens but I suggest that if you are scammed, you send him an email directly. I also sent him a link to this blog so he can track your comments himself. I will continue to work to hold Ray Janczyk accountable for scamming each one of you until something is done. I have nothing to gain in doing this other than the satisfaction of knowing that I did my part to take a very bad person off the streets.

Hello sir,



My name is Gwen Lion and I recently found out that Raymond Joseph Janczyk, Jr. is currently living in Millbury, MA. In fact, I learned that he was recently arrested for driving without a license in Millbury. It is my personal experience after tracking this man down for 5+ years that he is a serial thief and scam artist and I would like to ask for your assistance in how to educate and protect the citizens of your town. He has scammed 50+ people across 3 states, Nevada, Virginia and now Massachsettes in the last few years with absolutely no sign of slowing down. Unfortunately, he has been "under the radar" so to speak because he poses as a professional flooring contractor or home improvement contractor, takes a "deposit" and promises to return to begin the work but never returns. I've seen people lose from $500 to $10,000, no joke.

I have contacted you because I think you have a vested interest in protecting your citizens. It seems that he is there in your jurisdiction and if you have a way to hold him accountable for his actions, I would like to assist you in that effort. I have a blog online http://rayjanczykconartist.blogspot.com/ where I track people who have been scammed and I receive a new email every other week. I know this is considered heresay without any proof but I wonder how many people have to come forward before something will be done to stop him. Obviously, if it were possible to track him down and/or hold him accountable in a civil court that would have already been done. But because he doesn't pay taxes or work for a legit company, there's no way to force him to pay back his victims even if a civil suit were filed against him.

It's a very frustrating situation for a lof of people and it's amazing that he's been able to get away with this for so long. I'm basically the only person who is tracking his actions and whereabouts and I'm just a normal person with no legal background. If I could direct victims to you or someone who could actually do something about it, that would be helpful. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
